OUR INVOLVEMENT
Project Outline
The current proposal seeks permission for the demolition of existing dwelling and the erection of a new 5-bedroom replacement dwelling with associated landscaping. Following a successful pre-application, full planning permission for the proposal was submitted. However, the proposal was unfortunately taken to appeal due to the concern the replacement dwelling impeded differently on the character and appearance of the local countryside area. However, it was demonstrated the proposal would comprise a more efficient use of land being more sustainable. Therefore, the appeal was allowed.

OUTCOME
COMMENTS
Ewhurst Parish Council: This application has been thought out well. The new build uses the topography of the site well and the use of natural stone and the green living roof blends well into the landscape. The Parish Council is happy to support this application.
