Project Outline

The Planning Team assisted Devine Homes to achieve two planning permissions on their site on the north side of Shelvers Way.

The 4 unit scheme was refused at Committee (against the Officer’s recommendation), and so the Planning Team worked hard to prepare the planning appeal which took form as a hearing; and permission was granted as the appeal was allowed.

OUTCOME

Whilst the appeal was in progress, a subsequent application for 3 units, which removed the front plot from the proposal, was submitted and approved.

COMMENTS

Tadworth is a popular area within the Reigate and Banstead Borough for new development as many of the older properties have expansive and under-utilised gardens, ready for their potential to be unlocked.
