The project has been informed by an assessment of the street scene to ensure the development is in keeping with the character and design of the local area.
WS Planning & Architecture acted as the Planning Agent for this project liaising with the Client and other consultants to pull together and submit the application. To complement the application submission, WS Planning & Architecture produced a Planning, Design and Access Statement. WS Planning & Architecture were pleased to inform the Client the application was approved with conditions at the local level.

COMMENTS

Engaging with the Council at the pre-application stage allows the Council to raise any concerns they may have regarding the development proposal. This provides the Client with an opportunity to amend the proposed development appropriately to address any concerns raised. In this instance the Council raised concerns with the parking and hard surfacing. However, these concerns were sufficiently addressed in the planning application.
