Solar Farm in rural Hampshire
OUR INVOLVEMENT
Preferred Partner Involvement
Project Outline
Planning permission was granted at local level for a 7.6ha solar farm in Titchfield, Hampshire. While speaking in support of the proposal at Winchester City Council Planning Committee, we addressed a number of questions from local Councillors during the debate. On balance local members saw that the benefits of the proposal outweighed the planning constraints.
The Officers report stated that the proposal will have a positive outcome by increasing its bio-diversity value.
The application was prepared by the Planning & Architectural Team and supported by a number of Preferred Partners and external consultants. Given the nature of the proposal it was necessary to commission an Agricultural Report, Landscaping Study, Arboricultural, Highways, Ecology and Glint & Glare reports.
