For this project, WS were tasked with planning the demolition of an existing dwelling and replacing it with 6 new properties: two pairs of semi-detached houses and two detached. With concerns about the increased number of vehicles along the bridle path and the effect that would have on pedestrians, the project went to appeal. With subsequent improvements to the layout of the site and concerns regarding highway safety the case was successfully defended, and the appeal was allowed, subject to conditions.
