Project Outline

WS Planning & Architecture were appointed to design a new home for the owners of the site. The project was challenging as the site was located in the Green Belt. Nevertheless, following a pre-application enquiry and two planning applications, planning permission was granted for the conversion of an ancillary building to residential, providing the clients with a high-quality, contemporary dwelling which would blend within its rural surroundings.

COMMENTS

The site was located in the Green Belt, making its redevelopment challenging. However, through the conversion of the existing ancillary outbuilding, and the demolition of a further two outbuildings, WS Planning & Architecture were able to achieve permission for a high quality home.
