The project was originally recommended for approval at Reigate & Banstead Building Council committee but overturned by Members.
The decision was subsequently appealed and planning permission was granted at appeal.

It was great to note in the appeal decision that the Inspector acknowledged the site’s location as transitional between a more spacious pattern of residential development to the south east, and the tighter pattern of development and mix of uses at the local centre to the north west.
A very good result for our client, for whom this is not the first time of asking for an approval on this site!
