Erection of building comprising of 8 flats in Purley

The site of this project is within the urban area which is residential with a number of recent infill developments surrounding the site. WS Planning & Architecture acted as the Planning Agent for this project concerning the erection of a building comprising of 8 flats. The Planning team at WS Planning & Architecture produced a Planning Statement to accompany the application submission. The current project follows a pre-application enquiry for the proposal. This project has been led by a detailed assessment of the site and surrounding area as well as ensuring the proposal complies with all relevant planning policy.

The project has been carefully designed to respect the character of the local area, as the development has been designed to resemble a large, detached property rather than a block of flats which would be less respectful to the local street scene. The Planning Statement prepared by WS Planning & Architecture addresses all of the potential issues which may arise as a result of the application and highlights why the proposal is the most suitable use of the site.

COMMENTS

Submitting a pre-application enquiry prior to a full planning application where possible provides the best chance of a positive outcome for the proposal. It provides the Client with a chance to receive feedback from the Council indicating how they may respond to the full planning application.
