Project Outline

WS Planning & Architecture were tasked with supporting a detailed planning application for the demolition of an existing dwelling and the erection of two new homes.
The ‘Design and Access Statement’ was submitted in support of the application to demonstrate that the proposal will result in well designed residential development that respects the characteristics of the surrounding area. The proposal addressed all the previous issues resulting in a duo of homes which mirror the style of the surrounding dwellings in an innovative and contemporary way.

Reigate Borough Council, Head of Places and Planning – ‘The Local Planning Authority has acted positively and proactively in determining this application by assessing the proposal against all material considerations, including planning policies and any representations that may have been received and subsequently determining to grant planning permission in accordance with the presumption in favour of sustainable development where possible, as set out within the National Planning Policy Framework.’
