OUR INVOLVEMENT

Planning & Architecture

Project Outline

Both Planning and Architecture teams were involved in this project, transforming an under-utilised storage area to the rear of the property into a usable and desirable single storey extension. This project was in a Conservation Area in Reigate. Conservation Areas bring about more constraints within policy when it comes to planning applications for development, even at householder level, as the Local Authority wish to maintain the distinctive character of the landscape which, without due consideration, new developments can erode, thus, the Planning and Architecture teams worked closely together on this project to deliver a beautiful extension inkeeping with the Conservation Area’s character and it was so granted approval by Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.
