Brian worked for five Local Planning Authorities culminating as Head of Development Control for Runnymede Borough Council. He was subsequently Planning Manager at a Commercial Property Company, Associate at a Planning Consultancy and now Founder & Chairman of WS Planning & Architecture, that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022.
He has gained extensive experience in planning and regularly acts as an expert planning witness at Public Inquiries for a wide range of clients.
In 2013, he took on the role of Chairman of the South East Region for the FSB, Federation of Small Businesses when he regularly met MPs and Council Leaders on behalf of the association and its members. He then progressed to becoming National Councillor then Chairman of National Council. Brian has now relinquished his role with the FSB to concentrate his time on the growth and developements of the WS group of companies.
Brian is an avid supporter and season ticket holder of Crystal Palace FC.
