Abi Retter

Abi joined WS in August 2022 as an Apprentice Architectural Assistant. This is a four-year commitment between WS, Abi, and London South Bank University. Abi works with us 80% of the week and for the remainder she will be studying for her Degree at LSBU and undertaking other “off the job” training. Abi is our second Architectural Assistant apprentice.

After being inspired by the WS team during her my work experience with WS in summer 2019, we were delighted to offer Abi an apprenticeship. Abi is “thrilled to learn and grow in this great community”. She started her degree course at LSBU in September 2022.

Abi works mainly on Stages 2 to 3 of our Four Stage Planning & Design Process, undertaking Measured Surveys, and producing Concept Designs and Developed Designs in 2D and 3D. Abi is also our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Coordinator.

Outside of work and education, Abi has an obsession for all things fashion, owning over 60 pairs of shoes! She also enjoying watching Formula One and Football, supporting Chelsea FC. Abi travels whenever she can, exploring different cultures, foods, and architecture.

Abi attended The College of Richard Collyer, Horsham.
