The Planning team was consulted to put forward a planning application for the redevelopment of a site in Hounslow to provide CB Hounslow Sports Club with a clubhouse, covered standing and seating areas, 3 football pitches, 2 youth pitches and a grass sprinting track with associated parking and landscaping. The site is on Green Belt land which can make it harder for permissions to be granted due to the additional policy constraints. Due to the complexity of the proposal, the Planning team at WS took it to pre-application with the Council to gain advice on how the development would be best favoured by the Council. A series of Community Engagement consultations also took place in and around the application site. We met with MPs and Councillors to promote the application and help to raise funds towards the development.
