The development proposed is up to 58 dwellings with associated vehicular access, parking, public open space, play space and attenuation basins, together with landscaping enhancements (all matters reserved except access).
WS Planning & Architecture were instructed following the preparation of the Councils Statement of Case and adopted the Councils evidence prior to appearing on behalf of the Local Planning Authority at a Hearing. Prior to the Hearing, WS met with the Council and their Legal team aswell as local councillors and residents to ensure a full understanding of the case. Despite being unable to demonstrate a 5 year housing land supply the Inspector was satisfied that the proposal would result in a significant loss of openness to the Green Belt on the site in spatial terms and some loss of openness in visual terms.
